European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations

EURACARE Flight & Shelter aims to develop a multinational assistance team for the care of European citizens and other beneficiaries, with a special focus on minority groups (people with disabilities, elderly, unaccompanied kids and families), on evacuation spots in crisis areas worldwide. This team will be able to react flexibly in response to the necessities onsite in the area of evacuation standby as it can provide assistance in building-based short term sheltering and in terms of registration of large groups of evacuees, information management and the support of the consular authorities, as well as evacuation flights supported by medical and psychosocial trained team members. Through 24/7 availability of five different aircraft, a fast deployment of the response capacity can be guaranteed.
