Pollutant monitoring and ecological impact assessment following accidental oil or other chemical spills in marine waters

The proposal is in line with three other actions funded or proposed for funding: a workshop on "Environmental Restoration and ecological Monitoring", a workshop on "Environmental Damage", and a pilot project "A Pragmatic and Integrated Approach for the Evaluation of Environmental Impact of Oil and Chemicals spilled at Sea".

The project consists of a workshop which will present the outcome of the above-mentioned projects. The states-of-the-art and the potential of the methodologies will be presented. Guidelines and synthesis will be proposed.
