In Niger, ongoing conflict has left 3.8 million people in need.
Since 2019, attacks in Diffa region have escalated, leaving children struggling to attend school.
Thanks to EU humanitarian funding, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is providing tutorial lessons to help children, like Maryama, success in school and achieve their goals.
“I want to work as journalist so I can find out bad things happening. I want every girl in Niger to be educated to become what they want,” she says.
