On 10 March 2023, the Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations is organising an online information day on the Knowledge for Action in Prevention and Preparedness (KAPP) call for proposals.
Aim
The information day aims to familiarise potential applicants with the objectives of the KAPP call for proposals, published in the Funding & Tender opportunities portal on 13 February 2023. The opening date of the call for proposals will be 28 February 2023.
The objective is to provide potential applicants with guidance on the preparation of the proposals. The session will cover the 3 call topics, namely, prevention, preparedness, and full-scale exercises, as well as the main administrative, legal and financial aspects to be considered.
The KAPP call for proposals is open to EU Member States and participating states in the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, as well as to Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance countries and European Neighbourhood Policy countries.

The information day is intended for representatives of stakeholders in the field of civil protection and disaster risk management (national administrations, regional and local authorities, private sector, non-governmental organisations, academia and research institutes, international organisations, etc.).
