Children in Lebanon continue to bear the psychological burden of conflict. Within the SHIELD programme, the EU and War Child offer a safe space for them to express themselves through puppet theatre.
This video shows children engaged in a creative environment which fosters self-expression and healthy coping skills for stress-management.
The SHIELD programme is implemented by War Child in Lebanon, the Lebanese Organisation for Studies and Training, and the Akkar Network for Development.
