Aims at developing criteria and guidelines for assessing the risk and damage of catastrophic floods and it will offer opportunities to reduce the risk of floods due to dysfunctions of potentially dangerous facilities.
The project will perform surveys and on site visits to selected areas to create a database of geographical information.
Moreover the project will develop a Manual for small dams with a methodology which will assist project partners to implement activities and responsibilities of Member States for the assessment and management of flood risks.
