The project will deliver a feasibility study of the National Health Emergency Management System to reveal current systematic problems, assess upcoming risks and propose solutions. It will propose necessary regulatory, institutional and organisational changes; solutions for better emergency management models and a modernised risk assessment mechanism; and the development, modernisation and/or integration of IT systems / tools. The developed IT system will facilitate coordination and promote a cross-sectoral approach to managing the risk of further waves of COVID 19 and of major crises of a similar nature.
