The EHF is a new international gathering to shape the future of humanitarian assistance.
The European Humanitarian Forum will be held in regular intervals with a view to promoting discussions on humanitarian policies, strategies and operations. It will help identify forward-looking solutions and improve concrete lifesaving actions for the millions of persons in humanitarian needs.
The EHF will bring together EU and non-EU humanitarian bodies, UN agencies, non-governmental organisations, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, international financial institutions, academics, think tanks, local responders, and people affected by humanitarian crises.
It serves as an inclusive platform for strategic and open debates between the EU’s political decision-makers and the wider international humanitarian community where a European perspective is offered, tested and confronted.
The EHF 2022’s edition, the first of its kind, jointly organised by the European Commission and the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will address the unprecedented level of humanitarian needs and the constraints faced by both humanitarian actors and beneficiaries across the world.
It will take place from 21 to 23 March 2022,in Brussels, Belgium.
